Can I Add A Digital Wall Thermostat To My Coleman Mach Air Conditioner

Question:
We own 2014 Thor four winds rv that we would like to upgrade the controls to digital with thermostat to regulate the temperature better in the rv. We have a Coleman Mach unit with model number 48253c969. Is there anything that would work to do this.

I do have a potential solution for you, but we do not carry the Coleman brand air conditioners. You may be able to add on a Coleman brand thermostat, but this would likely require a decent amount of installation including replacing the distribution box and wiring in a wall thermostat.
We would be able to offer you a new AC unit with its own digital thermostat.
If you want to switch over to a digital thermostat I recommend going with the Furrion HE # FR55PV. This is a 15K BTU air conditioner and includes the AC unit itself, controller, distribution box and digital wall thermostat. Furrion makes a top quality Ac Unit. This will likely be much more efficient and much quieter than the current unit.
