Can Kuat NV 2.0 Allow Rear Hatch of Acura MDX To Open with Bikes Loaded

Can you open the lift gate on a late model MDX with thrust rack in the folded up position?

We had the chance to test fit a Kuat NV 2.0 part # NV22G on a 2022 Acura MDX and we found that with a bike loaded we were able to open the rear hatch if the rack was tilted back. With the rack unloaded but in the folded up position I do not believe you would be able to open the hatch.
