How To Determine If 25-1/8" Leaf Springs Will Fit 2022 Dutchmen Coleman Light 1855RB Travel Trailer

Question:

I have a 22 coleman light 1855rb and have found my leaf springs flat after a recent trip. I am looking to increase the spring rating slightly. i am equipped with a 4400 lb single axle and 2200 springs. I was looking at Item # e47SR 3000 lb springs. seems these would fit my setup. I plan on upgrading axle but have a trip coming up in 3 weeks and time is of the essence. I dont want to bother with a warranty claim as they will just install same junk it came with. Will these springs size/dimension wise fit my trailer? thanks

To determine if you will be able to use the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e47SR you will need to measure your current leaf springs. Unfortunately, I have no way to lookup what leaf springs your 2022 Dutchmen Coleman Light 1855RB would have come with from the factory. This leaf spring is 25-1/8" long from eye center to eye center when curved with no weight on the spring. Since you mentioned your spring is flat the length would be 25-5/8" when completely flat from eye to eye. If you find you have a different length measurement please let me know so I can help you find a closer option. Do note the measurement does not have to be exact. I find as long as you are within 1/4" of length you should not have any issues.
