Will the 18 Inch Long Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank item # EQ90-02-4500 Work w/ the E2 System?

Question:
90-02-4500 Equalizer Weight-Distribution Shank - 18inch Long Can this item be used instead of the regular 12” shank on the E2 Equal-izer weight distribution hitch for a 2” receiver? My new 2023 pickup has the GMC pro tailgate which is thicker and I need some additional clearance behind the tailgate. Thanks.
