Question:
If the turn signals on the RV are working and and those on the Tow vehicle are not, where do I look 1st?

The first place I'd check is on your RV. You'll start with the fuses and make sure none of them are blown. If they are, that's your problem and you'll just need to replace them.
If the fuses are good, then I'd check out your connectors. Specifically look for any type of corrosion or buildup that could be affecting your connection. Rust is also another big culprit, so if there's rust you can either replace the connector or clean the rust off.
Finally, if that's all good then you're going to want to use a circuit tester # PTW2993 to check the functions of your 7-way and see if there's any signal making it out of your motorhome. This will narrow down your hunt to either the motorhome side or vehicle side.
