Question:

I have a 2022 grand design 3540 fifth wheel and would like to know which TIMBREN and SUMO bump stop fits it. asked by: Larry C Expert Reply: The correct Timbrens for your 2022 Grand Design 3540 are the part # T92MR that you referenced and the correct SumoSprings are the part # SS33HR. I sent several follow up emails and photos because this is wrong info the axles are on the bottom and spring is on top so they won’t work

I apologize for any confusion from the previous response. The 2022 Grand Design Solitude 3540GK does in fact come with 7,000 lb overslung axles. The correct Timbren is the # TTRA1032 which works with both the underslung and overslung configuration.

The correct SumoSprings are the # SS26MV. If I were to recommend one it would be the SumoSprings. They will give you a smoother ride when compared to the stiffer Timbren.
