Easiest to Install Brake Controller on 2017 Toyota Tundra

Question:

I have a 2017 4.6L Tundra. Basic trim package w/ no OEM brake controller, no tow package etc. Can you tell me which brake controller will fit and easiest to install? Im hoping I dont have to do much hardwiring.

Even though you don't have the tow package on your 2017 Toyota Tundra you should still have a 7-way at the rear of the vehicle. So the easiest to install brake controller with that set up, which requires no wiring whatsoever, is a wireless controller from Curt:

The Echo # C51180 will simply plug into the 7-way on your Tundra, and is set up and controlled with an app on your smartphone. That's literally all there is to it and with it you get a proportional brake controller which responds to the deceleration of your Tundra for smooth braking.
