Question:

I have an RSI Smartcap. Id like to install a set of quality load bars using the RSI t-bolt tracks. Can you help spec. parts?

Since we don't currently offer the RSI Smartcap I don't have any real technical info on it, but since you say they have t-slots you could use a system like the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack for Thule and Yakima Tracks # Y01-140B-NT. This rack attaches to t-slots using the provided bolts and M6 24x24x4 nuts. If these are too large for your t-slots you can either grind down the sides to make it fit or get replacements from your local hardware store to fit.

These square crossbars have a full opening slot on the bottom to fit a variety of different lengths for mounting and are 65" long x 1-5/8" wide x 1-7/8" tall. Once installed you can easily remove the crossbars and legs from the base to prevent theft or just get them out of the way when not needed without having to get out tools. These load bars have a 220lb capacity, but you'll want to refer to your Smartcap's and roof's capacities and go with whichever is lowest.
