Overall Bracket Dimensions of Alumi Tread Manual Pull Out Step # LC432696

Question:
Looking at LC432696 steps to replace steel Hickory Springs steps on my 2010 Keystone Raptor 5th wheel. The Lippert steps look like an exact aluminum substitute. The product pageinch lists an overall width of 27.5inch which will work fine. But the dimensioned photo shows 28. This is too wide for the existing brackets welded to the RV frame. Which is correct? l

When we had an Alumi Tread Manual Pull OUt Step part # LC432696 in our photo room we found that the overall width of the mounting bracket was 27-3/4 inches.
