The Quick Loops for Thule Bow/Stern Tie-Downs # TH530 can indeed be used with Thule J-style kayak holders, including the discontinued 848 XTR you mentioned. A better option is the Thule Hull-A-Port Aero # TH849000.
These are channel-mounted so they are easy to put on the roof rack, and you can indeed use two of them at the same time with no issues at all.
If you also need the WingBar Evo roof rack for your 2023 Corolla the correct parts are # TH711420, # TH710501, and # TH145209.
