Where Does the Bare Copper Wire Go on the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System

Im installing my Furrion A/C unit. Model #FACR 15 HESA-PS. My order number was #114776959. Coming out of the control box are 4 wires. White NUETRAL, Black LINE, and Green GROUND. The fourth wire is a bare copper wire in a plastic tube. At first, I thought it was a freeze sensor for the evaporator, but it doesnt reach the evaporator. What is this wire? Thanks,

The bare copper wire with clear tube on the control box of the distribution for the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System part # FR92PR is an air temp sensor. It needs to be pointed straight up toward the overhead unit. It does not correct directly to any other wires or devices.

I checked with SoftStart and they have a diagram for the install of their #SSR54FR on Furrion Chill RV AC units like the #FR58PR that you referenced.

There is a diagram of the wiring for the Furrion #FR58PR in the instructions, but I've gone ahead and linked a photo of the wiring diagram as well as the instructions for this unit.

Your situation would require the replacement Furrion Chill HE zone controller part #FR43PR and also the Furrion thermostat #FR33PR. Your current thermostat would not work with the Furrion controller.

I do see you got the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System #FR52PR from us last year. To switch to a thermostat control you will need a Thermostat #FR33PR, Controller #FR43PR and Air Distribution Box #FR57PR.

The air box that comes with the Furrion Chill Premium RV AC unit part #F14PA12SASA-W is the part #FACT12SA-PS which does not have the LED light strip. The air distribution box that does have the LED strip is the part #FACT12LA-PS.
