Question:
Hi! I have the Curt Echo Wireless C51180 brake controller that we previously used with our Honda Pilot and small fiberglass travel trailer. I recently got a Ford Bronco Sport Badlands with the factory tow kit. I installed the CURT 57672 4-pin to 7-pin wiring adapter. What do I need to do to get the brake controller to work? Do I need to tap in to access the blue wire somewhere? Or do I just run the black to the battery perhaps with a fuse? to power it, because it’s a wireless controller? Or something else? Thanks!

Basically you would just need the 12 volt accessory of the 7-way adapter active for the Curt Mobile Echo # C51180 to function. So what you would need is to run 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot) through a breaker like # 9510 to your positive battery post. The black wire is the circuit of the adapter you would want to use.
