Question:
Hello, I have a 2022 F-150 STX 4x4 with a 7 pin and a 4 pin factory trailer connector. I bought a Curt Spectrum with a quick connector to the factory harness for my 2018 F150 and installed it. I am wondering if you offer this same set up for my 2022? I cant seem to find the quick connector on your web site. All I keep seeing is the trailer mounted controller as a suggestion for my truck. Thank you,

From what I can find 2021+ Ford F-150 models are either coming without the plug or come with equipment that has to be activated by a Ford dealer, making it harder on consumers to install aftermarket brake controllers. Because of this you'll likely have to use a universal splice-in wire harness like part # C51515 to install your Curt Spectrum Trailer Brake Controller # C51170.
Curt lists the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers # C51436 as a fit, but I would open up your dash to see if you have the plug to connect to since I've seen quite a lot of people saying that their 2022's don't have one at all.
