In order to help you wire the Atwood Single-Panel On/Off Switch # AT91959, I would need to know the model number of your water heater because each will be wired a little differently. If you can provide me with your model number information, I would be happy to help you find where each wire goes.
I have attached a chart that shows some of the different hook up options, depending on your model. If you see your model number in the chart, you can follow those guide-lines for wiring the switch.
