Im looking at 2 trailer lights item #TLL12RK. I have an oblong opening of 2and7/16 x 6and11/16. My dumb question is will the lights and grommets fit in that opening?

Replacement trailer lights can be confusing at times because each manufacturer uses slightly different dimensions so the question is definitely warranted.
