Trailer Wiring for a 2010 BMW 5-Series

Question:
What is the best wiring kit for this vehicle56146, 119250, 119179, or C59496? The info for the etrailer recommended system 56146 does not mention that it is compatible with multiplex PWM systems. Please advise.

Any of the wiring harnesses that you mentioned will work with your 2010 BMW 5-series. They are designed to work with pulse width modulation and multiplex wiring which are two different types of systems. Out of the available options I recommend # C59496 because it is a newer design and still offers the circuit protection that the others offer and installs the same way.
