Recommended Front Mount Hitch for a 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500 and 3500

Question:
Hello, I want to install this front mount hitch. I will transport a 390lbs scooter and the carrier weighs 60lbs. Will this work, I see it’s says 500lbs vertical pressure?

Yes it will. The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch item # C31023 has a 500 lbs vertical load limit which is the same thing as tongue weight on a trailer hitch. This hitch has plenty of capacity for your 390 lbs scooter and 60 lbs carrier. You will want to verify with Chevy what your Silverado's capacity is and go off of that number if it is lower then 500 lbs.
The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch item # C31023 is confirmed to fit both the 2500 and 3500 models of the 2011 Chevy Silverado. I have linked an installation video below.
