Question:
Hello, I have a boat trailer from the 50s that I am thinking about putting a new Axle under as its not very road worthy at the moment but my measurements are not seeming to match much on your site and hoping u can help point me in the right direction! Hub face measurements is about 53-54 and middle of leaf spring is about 44. Its a 4 on 4 bolt pattern with 4.80 - 8 tires. Thanks in advance for whatever help you can provide!

There are a lot of different axle lengths out there, and we don't always carry one that matches. Also, in addition to your hub face measurement you will need to know the axle capacity for a replacement. Since we don't have an axle with a 53-54" measurement, you could use the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension.
Based on your 4 on 4 bolt pattern on your hubs you probably have something like a 2k axle. You will need to verify this. If that is the case, you can use the # ASR2000S01. This system fits any frame width and has a 2,000 lb capacity. It has a straight spindle that uses # L44649 inner and outer bearings. This will also upgrade the suspension on your trailer and replace the leaf springs.
I have attached some review videos below, along with a link to all of our Timbren systems that can be sorted by capacity for you to check out.
