How to Determine Where to Drill the 4 inch Hole to Install B&W Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNRK1257
Updated 05/16/2014 | Published 05/15/2014 >
Question:
You mention in the video that the bed does not need to be removed. How is the measurement and location for the 4inch diameter hole and chain bars determined? Is there a template or is there another way to provide a professional installation? Great video.

To determine where to cut the 4 inch diameter hole to install the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1257 in your 2011 Toyota Tundra you will need to measure from the tail gate end of the truck bed floor by hooking a tape measure over the end of the truck box and mark the floor at 42 3/8”.
Next, find the center point between the wheel wells, where these marks intersect with the first measurement will be the center point of your four inch hole. This location is critical to the correct installation of the B&W Turnoverball hitch so measure, mark and saw carefully. Make a four-inch hole at this location. B&W recommends using a four-inch hole saw.
