Question:
I Purchased and installed the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # C62VR for my 2021 jeep grand Cherokee. Everything works great. The one question I have is the marker lights on the trailer stay on even when the vehicle is off and the keys are out of the ignition. The Jeep lights are off but the marker lights on the trailer remain on. what do I need to do to fix this problem?

There are a host of potential problems if the running lights on your trailer stay on after installing the Curt # C62VR, so troubleshooting them is going to be a process of elimination. The first thing to do would be double-check the ground connections at the lights. Make sure the ground area is clean and free of corrosion and paint to the point that bare metal is visible. Once you have confirmed that the ground connections are solid, you can check the functions at the 4-way plug to ensure the brown running light wire is not showing power when the vehicle is off; do this by using a circuit tester such as # PTW2993.
Also, does your trailer have LED lights? If so, they may remain on for some time due to residual power at the 4-way, but will eventually go out so long as you make sure to disconnect the wiring. Also check the trailer plug for corrosion, and the wiring going to the lights to ensure it is not nicked or damaged somehow. Finally, though it's rare, it may be the converter came to you bad, but that's very unlikely, so it is almost certainly a ground, LED lights, or an issue with the wires. I have added a link below to a help article on troubleshooting I also recommend taking a look at.
