Will 12V RV LED Puck Light DG52445VP Fit 3 Inch Diameter Hole

Question:

My existing cut-out hole is 3. The lights overall dimensions are 3 1/8. Isnt that cutting it pretty close. Wont there be some opening somewhere around the light with only 1/8inch of margin to work with? The non-working light is 4inch overall dimensions and 2 3/4inch on the back side. Is this the best replacement light????

Since your existing cut out is 3 inches in diameter you can absolutely use the 12V RV LED Puck Light # DG52445VP.

While the # DG52445VP has an overall diameter of 3-1/8 inches, the cut out size needed is just 3 inches, as any hole larger than that would essentially swallow the light and it wouldn't have anything able to hold it in place.
