Can Curt Echo Be Used With Hayes Sway Master on 2020 Land Rover Discovery

Question:
I have a 2020 19 ft Airstream that I will be towing with a 2019 Land Rover Discovery. I have two questions that NO one even land rover dealerships seem to give consistent answer on. Weight Distribution Kit 1. Land Rover recommends NOT using a WD kit on this vehicle. They insinuate that the reason is this vehicles automatic suspension adjustment in the rear makes this inadvisable. What is the truth? Hayes Electronic Sway Controller 2. Would a Hayes electronic Sway controller work with my TV/Trailer? I am currently using a Curt wireless brake controller on this setup. Should I continue to use it if I install the Hayes electronic sway controller?

I just looked at the 2020 Land Rover Discovery owner's manual and it says use of a weight distribution hitch is not recommended. Based on that and what the dealership said I would not attempt to use one, and doing so will likely damage your vehicle. The automatic suspension would certainly be a reason, and it may also be that the hitch and frame are unable to take the additional force from a WDH.
Regarding what I assume is the Curt Echo # C51180 and the Hayes Sway Master, you still want to use the Curt brake controller. You can certainly use the Sway Master but it only helps with sway, it will not work for normal braking. You will need the brake controller to control the brakes on your trailer.
