Question:
Can these jacks be used to replace blocking. I was thinking of using 8 jacks. The trailer is 40 foot long and I will not be removing the wheels.

You can use the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks, # UF48-979002, in place of blocks. In fact, many newer destination trailers use multiple scissor jacks. Keep in mind, these are stabilization jacks. They are not meant to raise the trailer, just to stabilize the movement. Blocks are commonly used because they are not only inexpensive and readily available, but they also provide more ground contact and zero movement over time.
If you will be parking this trailer on grass or dirt for extended periods of time, you may want to consider using a few leveling blocks, like part # UF48-979052, under the jack feet.
