Replacement Leaf Spring with Higher Weight Capacity or Suspension Enhancement for Trailer

Question:

I have an open trailer with two 5000# axles. Gvwr is 9900#. When the load is about 9000#, the suspension permits the bed to almost touch the wheels. Which is better replace the springs with 7k springs or add spring helpers to each axle? Or is there a better recommendation?

I would go with a heavier rated leaf spring like the 7k par # e64SR that you referenced. Suspension enhancement on trailers can work well but going with heavier rated springs will give you a better ride quality as well as support.
