I have a solution for you but there are no class II hitches available for your 2014 Jeep Cherokee. I checked with our vendors and no one made one. Instead, you will want the etrailer Hitch item # e62TR and the Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" item # HT02. This combination will allow you to use class I and II accessories with your class III hitch without sacrificing capacity.
The etrailer Hitch item # e62TR is custom fit and bolts to your Jeep with included hardware. I really like this hitch because the crosstube mounts behind the bumper cover completely concealing it. This leaves only the 2" receiver visible which is a better look and helps with ground clearance.
The class III hitch is always a better option than a class I or class II. They have quite a bit of additional capacity and a wider selection of accessories. If you already have a class II bike rack feel free to email me back with the manufacturer and I can see if they make their own reducer sleeve.
I have linked an installation video below so you can see how to get this hitch set up.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56208 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
