Question:
I have a 2013 Wrangler JKU with factory tow package. I ordered HM40975-11933. To switch from a 4 pin to a 7 and 4 pin. What other wires are needed to be able to utilize a 7 pin plug in as well as installing a trailer brake? Im trying to make sure I have everything needed. I already have a Brake Controller. But it doesnt tell me what other wires are needed for the 7 pin to actually work properly.

Since you have the factory tow package on your 2013 Jeep Wrangler unlimited, the installation of the # HM40975-11933 is all that is necessary for a working 7-way. However, you will need some additional wiring to get your brake controller installed.
You will need to locate the coiled up light green or blue brake output wire near the emergency brake pedal. You will also need the # 5506 to add circuit breakers and run wire from the battery to provide power as well as a ground connection. If you don't already have one, you will also need a circuit tester like the # PTW2993 to locate the cold side of the stop light switch that only has power when the brakes are applied.
I have attached an installation video below to give you an idea of what the process is like.
