Truck Bed Dimension for B and W Turnoverball Installed in 2012 Ford F-250

Question:
On step 7, figure A2, it says to measure from the back of the bed but, does not state a distance. I am installing this on a 2012 Ford F-250 with a 610inch bed. For the distance between the wheel wells it states halfway. Is it also halfway from the back of the bed to the front? I do not want to cut a hole in my bed until I am sure and with all the warnings in the instructions about proper placement, you would think that they would be clearer about the distance rear to front. Thank you!

In the red circle you made (very bottom) it actually says what the distance is that you need to measure. It's 46-1/2 inches for long and short bed trucks. That is measurement from rear of truck bed to where the ball would be placed. Then the centering would be from left to right.
