Question:

I want a tow hitch with a 2 in receiver as I have a bike rack that is two inches and is used on our other cars. What hitch do you recommend. I will not be towing any weight or trailers with the Mustang - this is for the bike rack. I do not want to use a 1.25inch receiver then an adapter Mustang GT 2013

Currently there are only 1-1/4" receivers like the Curt # C11210 which are custom fit for your 2013 Ford Mustang GT. Since you are not wanting to use an Adapter # e93YR you would need to have a custom hitch fabricated. It would likely be easiest to get the Curt and have a 2" Receiver # E-9 welded on. Do be sure to add gussets for additional strength to the receiver to secure it in place. Do note there is no way to give this type of custom receiver a specific weight rating and it would void any warranty from Curt. The Curt is rated for up to 200lbs of tongue weight so that will likely be the same rating if the 2" receiver is welded in correctly.

Depending on the size of your bike rack and the bikes you will likely need to run some Auxiliary Lights # C53201 behind the bikes. For these you will need a 4-Way Wiring Harness # 118487 to power the lights.
