Question:
Im wanting to upgrade the electric brakes on my 2005 Forrest River Cardinal 33 lx. It has a GVWR of 14,400 lbs. Im needing 4 sets of the brakes and drums, and I would prefer the self-adjusting kind. Do you know what part numbers I would need for the brakes and drums?

Expert Reply:
Yes, to replace the brakes and hub/drums on your 7K axles you need the following:
- Self-Adjusting Trailer Brakes # TRU96FR
- Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K (1/2" studs)
- Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-865-7-1-EZ-K (9/16" studs)
The brakes fit either way, you just need to choose the correct hub drums that match your current studs so it fits with your current equipment just fine.
I've attached some isntallation videos for you to check out.
