Is Brake Lite Relay Needed with Install of Hopkins Tow Bar Wiring Kit 2017 Jeep Cherokee

looking to use Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles Item # HM56208 on my 2017 Cherokee Trailhawk. Will be using REady Brute Elite II with mechanical braking system to press brake pedal in Jeep. The brake lights dont come on when car is off, so i dont need RM-88400, correct?

You are correct. Since the brake lights of your 2017 Jeep Cherokee do not come when you hit the brakes and the vehicle is off you do not need a brake lite relay with the install of the Hopkins tow bar lighting kit part # HM56208 that you plan to install.
