Does it matter which wire is positive or negative after you hook up your brakes up all four of them?

The wiring on the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA are both the same color as they are not positive/negative specific. So you are able to install either wire to the positive terminal and the other to the negative terminal.
