Question:

Part# Y01151-57 This item specifically states With Trail Rail Systeminch does it come with an adapter to mount on the gladiators factory trail rail? Then in the same description under tech tips.. it states you have to remove the trail rail and cannot be used when rack is installed. Why is there a specific call out in yellow with trail railinch if its the same product as w/o and there is no adapters for the rail included?

I agree that the fitguide's filter for Trail Rail compatible ladder racks is a bit misleading since you would have to remove your trail rail. The only ones that really will mount into the trail rail tracks are the Rhino Rack options like part # RR29VH. There are other options in there that will also fit because they either mount in the stake pockets or into a tonneau cover t-slot. Yakima, for example, has the # Y01152-5755 which comes with adapters to mount in the t-slots of a cover.

The rack that you're seeing that note that the trail rail system must be removed do not have adapters in order to make them compatible with the track.
