Question:

Hi, Will the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers be compatible with the pullrite under bed mounting brackets? I already have the pullrite system installed but want to add air bags with internal jounce bumpers. I just don’t want to have trouble with the install. Vehicle: 2021 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali Crew Cab, short bed 6.5’, 4wd, diesel. Thank you

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL88341 installs to the frame in the same location as most fifth wheel and gooseneck brackets and may not be compatible with in-bed hitch. PullRite has quite a few different mounting brackets so you would need to look at the instructions and compare them to your brackets to see if the Air Lift would interfere.

That being said, I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2613 over the Air Lift. These will be compatible with your PullRite brackets. Not only are they compatible, they have a far superior construction at the same price point. Firestone uses 4 layers of reinforced rubber and also keeps the air bags securely anchored with the time-proven, rolled crimp seal. I realize this doesn't have an internal jounce bumper, but with the Firestone you won't need it.

I also recommend adding an air compressor like the # F2178. This will allow you to control the pressure of the air bags wherever you go from the cab of your truck. This is a dual path system so you can adjust them independently or together.
