Distance From Bottom of Washer to Top of Brophy D-Ring Tie Down Anchor

Question:
When the Brophy D-Ring Tie Down Anchor - Bolt On - 1/2 inch Diameter - 2,000 lbs Item # DR01 is mounted and the ring is laying down what is the distance from the bottom of the washer to the top of the bracket? I want to cut out a recess in the trailer decking so that when this lays down unused I can lay something down like a table or head board and this wont protrude and dent it. So I need to know how thick my decking will have to be so this lays below the horizon. All the other flush mounted anchors still protrude above the decking or their bolt heads do at least and so are not truly flush. Thanks

I contacted Brophy, who said the distance from the bottom of the washer to the top of the Brophy D-Ring Tie Down Anchor # DR01 is 1-1/2 inches.
