looking for a dash mounted trailer brake control for a 2019 ford explorer xlt with one small knob to mount in open slot next to my tow button and rear hitch release slot.

I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR for your 2019 Ford Explorer. This is our smallest control knob style brake controller. If you have the tow package with 7-way you will only need the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness # RED87FR. Otherwise you will need a Installation Kit # ETBC7 with Harness # RED69FR to connect to the Redarc to Explorer with a 4-way flat.
