I noticed blue LED, is this light always on? Or just when usb is plugged in? Thanks

The light Bulldog Winch Dual USB Ports # BDW20287 LED light will be on always. If you only want it on when in use you could wire the ports to a switch, like # PK34513, to cut the power draw of the light.
