How Long Are the Yakima HD Crossbars?

Can you tell me what the overall length is with the end caps? Is the crossbar actually 63” less the overlap of the end caps, leaving 60” of T-track and an overall length of 68” with caps? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The Yakima HD Crossbar # YA34FR measures 60" from end to end including the endcaps. Yakima does also make this bar in a large 68" version # Y01158 and an extra-large 78" version # Y01159 if you're interested as well.
Additionally, the t-tracks run the entire length of the crossbar, is 13/16" wide, 1/4" tall, and has a 3/8" opening.
