Question:

I am purchasing a tow bar and base plates , also would like to talk to someone about wiring. Im trying to turn 24 volts into twelve, hopefully complicating things less. If you could help I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I am not completely sure what you are trying to rewire. Vehicles and motorhomes do not use 24v for lights. Diesel motorhomes and trucks typically use 24v for the starter but only 12v for everything else. So wiring like the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 will work just fine.

If there is something particular you are not sure about, please let me know and I would be happy to address it.

To flat tow, you will need at least 5 main parts. Those parts being a base plate kit, tow bar, tow bar wiring, supplemental braking system and safety cables. I have listed parts that are compatible with your 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 below:
