Does Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller Allow 12 Volt Charge Circuit to Pass Through to Trailer
Published 02/15/2023 >
Question:
Hi, I have a 2022 chevy1500rst with a built in controller. The built in constantly disables the trailer brakes when foot brake is applied, GM does not have a fix gor this yet. Two questions ...Can the curt echo be used as a work around the factory system? Will it still allow charging for my travel trailer batteries through my factory 7 pin plug. I need charging to keep my 12 volt camper fridge operating during travel.

The Curt Echo Mobile brake controller # C51180 does still allow the 12 volt charge circuit to pass through and charge a trailer battery or operate other 12 volt accessories like your fridge. It also would bypass the integrated controller of your 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 when installed as well.
