Is Fascia Cut Out Needed For EcoHitch Install on 2023 Chevy Bolt EV

Question:

We recently replaced our 2019 Bolt EV with a 2023 Bolt EV. We bought the ecohitch for the 2019 thinking we were going to purchase it but financially made sense to get the new one as there was a small difference in price... soooooo, I see the hitch we bought 306-X7359 WILL fit the 2023 but am wondering if you have any advice or recommendations on the install. Same bolt removals? Is cut out needed or is there a small panel that can be removed I've seen this mentioned. Love your install videos and great customer service. I've recommended you whenever someone asks

First, I appreciate the kind words, and the install will be exactly the same on your 2023 Chevy Bolt EV, and fascia trimming (cut out) is needed for the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7359.

The cut out is 6 inches long so the receiver has a place to stick out from the underside of the car.
