How To Attach Curt Replacement OEM USCAR Trailer Connector to 4-Way Harness on Jeep Wrangler

Question:

Hello, Is there an adapter that will connect a 4 Wire towing wiring harness to a 7 Blade and 4 Flat plug? I have an aftermarket bumper that has a special place for the seven blade and four flat plug to mount however I’m going to install a four wire towing harness kit not a seven wire. I need something that will allow me to plug in the four wire connector to the back of the seven wire plugs on the bumper. Thank you

In order to use the Curt Replacement OEM USCAR Trailer Connector part # C42JR you'll need a harness like the Tow Ready Replacement 7-Way Harness part # 20147 which will then wire onto the existing trailer harness. For example, if you have a 2019 Jeep Wrangler you'd need to use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118786. The trailer connector on the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness would be removed and then attached to the Tow Ready Replacement 7-Way Harness. There will be extra wires for the additional functions of the different style connectors that you can either attach accordingly or tie them up.
