what is the outside diameter of the base of this item? I have a different brand motorized trailer dolly and am looking for a 2 5/16 ball mount.

For Hitch Ball w/ Base for Trailer Valet XL, part # TVBB2 the base that fits into the hole on the Trailer Valet measures 1.92 inches diameter and the base the hitch ball fits into measures 3 inches diameter.
