Is Bike Adapter Bar Needed For Yakima LongHaul or Thule Range For Trek Marlin 6 & 7

I’m looking for a bike rack for the back of my 2020 Jayco 355MBQS fifth wheel RV. It needs to hold 4 bikes. I am currently considering a Yakima Long Haul or a Thule Range RV. Would also use it on my truck from time to time 2011 F-350. Would I need a top bar for out Trek Marlin 6and7 mountain bikes? There is a little slope on the top bar, but I would think it is straight enough. Can you please confirm?

Yes. You absolutely, positively, without any shadow of a doubt MUST use Swagman Bike Frame Adapter Bar # 64005 with your Trek Marlin 6 & 7 bikes on either the Yakima LongHaul # Y02476 or Thule Range # TH9057.
As for the racks themselves, I would go with the Yakima LongHaul RV Bike Rack # Y02476.
The Yakima ZipStrips that secure the bikes on the LongHaul are a bit "beefier" (to use an industry term) than the Thule straps, the LongHaul is also a few pounds lighter so a bit easier to handle, and frankly just a better overall value.
