Will The RoadActive Suspension Raise The Ride Height On a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 With 2 Drop Shackles?

Question:

Does the ras system raise the rear of the truck after install? If so how much higher? I have put 2” shackles on my truck to level it. Can’t get an airbag system to fit. Thought this might be a better option.

The RoadActive Suspension # RAS4611 for your 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 is not designed to raise your suspension. While it was not designed to raise the suspension if your current springs are sagging from time and weight you will likely see a small rise in the rear ride height. As they are adjustable you can lower the tension on the coil spring to the softer setting to reduce the amount of rise you may see. Also the 2" drop shackles only move the attachment points and will not affect the curve in the leaf springs.
