Does Go Power Automatic Transfer Switch # 342GPTS Have Internal Fuse and Wire Gauge to Use
Published 01/20/2023 >
Question:
Hi, A couple of question on the 342GPTS Go Power Transfer switch 1. The wiring diagram shows a fuse for the charger connection, but does not specify size. What size should be used. 2. I, guessing you remove the 120V charger connection wires and connect them to the transfer switch. What AWG size wire shall be used for the charger connection? Thank you

There is an internal fuse in the Go Power Transfer Switch part # 342GPTS but it is included and you would not need to supply it. Usually 6 gauge wire is used for the wiring from the switch to the charger.
