Where Are The Condensation Drain Holes Located On An Advent Air RV Air Conditioner

Dear etrailer Team, is it right that the ACM150 has no condensation water drain to let the water on the roof of the trailer? The water will be reused internal in the ACM? Work the ACM135 unit just like the ACM 150 unit without water drain? Best Regards

The Advent Air # ACM135 and # ACM150 both have drain holes on the bottom of the pan at the front of the unit that will drain water out onto the roof of the trailer. I've attached a picture below to show you where these holes are located.

@ThomasO Advent Air units have three condensation holes (pictured above) and the manufacturer does not want you drilling your own holes. Drilling into your unit could damage it and would certainly void your warranty.

Ok you’re saying that the drain holes are on the pan? How does the water come out of the styrofoam covering?

@ValM The coils on this unit are open and allow the condensation to drip down into the pan and the escape through the holes in the pan. The Styrofoam covers block that condensation from getting into places it shouldn't.

@KevinC the water on my evaporator doesnt run down. the blower sucks the water for the evaporator right thru fan and out ac unit right onto floor and blows down duct work. Causing a mess, no on can figure out why the evaporator is making so much water. Have no issues with dometic but this advent has leaked since brand new. Dealer back 3 time cant figure it out eirher, neither can manufacturer

@Tomc I wonder if you have water building up at the back of the pan because of the angle of the roof and it's not able to reach the drain holes. I'd be curious to see the unit running with shroud off to see if that's the case. If not then it may be some sort of manufacturer defect. I would reach out to ASA Electronics for a warranty claim.

Hey Scott. The #NC29FR is Norcold #N10DCSSL, and is 59-7/8" tall. You need #NC73FR which is Norcold #N8DCSSR so it is a direct replacement for your unit. This measures 52-7/8" tall which is why you cannot use the other fridge.
