Recommended Base Plate and Flat Towing Parts for a 2022 Ford Edge ST

Looking for a roadmaster base plate for a 2022 ford edge, do you have a part number

The only manufacturer that makes a base plate for a 2022 Ford Edge is Blue Ox. It is the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BX2677. I confirmed this information with Roadmaster. This fits the ST model, with the 2.7L Eco Boost engine. If your Edge is a different model it can not be flat towed.

If you already have a Roadmaster Tow Bar you will need to use an adapter. Which one you need will depend on the serial number of your tow bar. It is located on a sticker where the two arms come together.

For serial numbers above 16,501 you will need adapter item # RM-031-5.

For serial numbers up to 16,500 you will need adapter item # RM-031.

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267

Supplemental Braking System - Blue Ox Patriot 3 Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System item # BLU37TR and 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps item # RM-9332

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter.
