Question:
Is the 3 dimension listed for product 336TS508 inside the channel piece or outside?
asked by: Jim R
Expert Reply:
The 3 inch channel dimension is referring to outside the channel; so the Lock N Roll Articulating Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler - 3" Channel - Trailer Side # 336TS508 will bolt onto the outside of a 3 inch channel.
With this on your trailer, you'll also need the accompanying mount for your vehicle such as the Lock N Roll Articulating Hitch for 2" Receivers - 4-1/2" Drop/Rise - Vehicle Side # 336VS517.
The correct mount for your vehicle is going to depend on the rise or drop you need, and the size of your hitch receiver, so I've added a link below to our entire selection of hitch mounts so you can find the right one.
