How to Add Tension to Lippert Slide Topper Awning

Question:

I’ve seen a previous question “answered” but it actually doesn’t answer the question. How do you tighten the slide awning after it’s installed?

To add more tensions to your slide topper, like part # LCV000163285, you'll need to remove the slide topper from your brackets and reroll the awning the 14 times the installation instructions call for. Also be sure your end caps are properly installed so the tension doesn't slip during operation.
