For a supplemental braking system to be used with a flat towing setup that uses the etrailer XHD tow bar part # e67ZR that you referenced you have two options on ways to go. You can go with a permanent install option which requires a much more in-depth install but also does not require any real setup time when you go to flat tow the vehicle. Or you can go with a temporary install option which has hardly any setup time, but you do have to set it up every time you go to set up your flat tow setup. This is also really easy to transfer to future vehicles.
So if you like the permanent install option the best is the SMI SBS DUO part # SM99251 which our installers consider to be the easiest to install and best performing.
Or for a temporary install option the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR is the best performing easiest to use.
I'm pretty sure you have a 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 LD which would require the custom fit base plate kit part # e98958 which provides the connection point for the tow bar that is custom fit for your truck.
For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.
